Perhaps the foot is too small for the size of the bowl:

I used a blue slip to make the light blue design behind the darker
blue. I think it makes the white look like clouds, not planned. The
light blue would have been enough, but I never know when to stop. The
dark blue is a cobalt oxide painted on before the bowl is ever fired.
